Cassia essential oil is one of the most universally loved essential oils. Its aroma has long been associated with comfort and calm. Conversely, the energizing “euphoria” of the essential oil is somewhat reminiscent of walking into an aromatic bakery. It can be both uplifting and soothing. This comforting oil is spicy, zesty, sweet and heady.
Cassia (Cinnamomum cassia) is produced from East Asian trees closely related to the "true cinnamon" (Cinnamomum zeylanicum). Cassia is the typical "cinnamon" marketed in North America. The leaves and twigs of towering evergreen trees are steam distilled through a powerful process that produces the aromatic essential oil.

MUSCLE MASSAGE: Add to a 4 ounce squeeze bottle: 1 drops of Cassia, 8 drops of Birch, 11 drops of Helichrysum italicum, 5 drops of Peppermint and 15 drops of Copaiba, then fill with Jojoba oil and shake to mix well. Apply to overworked muscles and massage. (1.7% dilution)
INHALER: Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed: 3 drops of Cassia, 5 drops of Tea Tree and 5 drops of Lemon. Or add 5-6 drops of this blend to your Scent Ball Diffuser and diffuse for 30-60 minutes.
FRAGRANT SACHET: Fill an empty sachet bag with dried flowers, herbs or cotton balls. Add: 6-10 drops of Cassia to the sachet filling; close and place the sachet in drawers, or hang in your closet.
