German Chamomile essential oil has a distinctive ‘herbal’ sweet aroma and is dark blue in color. It is a very popular ingredient in natural skincare and cosmetic preparations, especially in Europe.
Think of a warm cup of Chamomile tea after a long, chilly day. Even if it isn’t your favorite beverage, Chamomile is synonymous with tranquility. It exudes relaxation and ease. For centuries, the plant has been used to promote peaceful rest.
During times of stress, we can often lose sleep and end up counting sheep to no avail. German Chamomile essential oil can inspire balance in the body and help you find rest.
Chamomile plants are native to Europe and Asia. They may grow to about 3 feet tall and produce daisy-like flowers. Through a steam distillation process, the essential oil is extracted from the flowers. German Chamomile has a plethora of uses and can be added to countless essential oil blends to encourage wellness and balance.
