HOLIDAY: Douglas Fir may have a characteristic “Christmas tree” aroma. Add Douglas Fir to a diffuser during the holidays, or drop onto ornaments to scent artificial trees. Alternatively, add 1 drop Douglas Fir and 1 drop Cinnamon Leaf to the inside of a paper bag and place holiday cards in bag. Let sit overnight to scent cards.
INHALATION: Add the following to a 5ml amber glass bottle: 40 drops Douglas Fir, 30 drops Blood Orange, 25 drops Thyme and 20 drops Eucalyptus Smithii. Shake to mix well. Fill a bowl with steamy water; add to the bowl 2 drops of the essential oil mixture, covering your head and bowl with a towel to keep the steam in. Inhale through your nose, with eyes closed. Breathe in the vapors for five minutes, or as desired.
AWAKE: Add 5 drops Douglas Fir, 3 drops Tangerine and 2 drops Pink Pepper to a personal inhaler. Inhale throughout the day.
MASSAGE: Blend 7 drops Douglas Fir, 7 drops Lavender (Greek) and 4 drops Pink Pepper in 1 oz of Cucumber carrier oil. Massage shoulders, feet, hands and legs after a long day.
