Edens Garden's Commitment To Sustainability

At Edens Garden, we put sustainability at the top of our priorities. Partnering with farms and companies who match our commitment to sustainability, as well as performing viable practices in-house are just a few ways we do our part to pave the way for a better future.

Because it’s our mission to not only provide high-quality, pure essential oils and natural wellness products but also to ensure that we’re treating the planet from which our oils are derived, with care. And with the current state of the Earth, it is more important than ever that we look at sustainability as a responsibility rather than a choice. Here’s how we are fulfilling that responsibility.

Our Partners

Ethical sourcing means our farming partners must match our commitment to preserve the environment and practice sustainable farming and methods of obtaining each oil. At EG, we define a sustainable farm as one whose:

  • Crops are not being over-exhausted

  • New crops are grown at a rate that is able to meet demand

  • No use of harmful chemicals and synthetics

  • Responsible use of water

  • The farm does not disrupt the surrounding ecosystem or wildlife

  • Waste and pollution are kept to a minimum

We also ensure that farms we work with are not pressured to rush harvesting or sacrifice the quality of crops at any point, allowing farmers time to catch up and maintain the viability of their crops. This is also one of the primary reasons why we may occasionally ‘out of stock’ an oil for a season–we are allowing ample time for farmers to catch up.

Packaging & Shipping

To help minimize our carbon footprint, we package our products in eco-friendly, recycled packaging that can then be reused or recycled after use

From our room sprays and single oils to our synergy blends and carrier oil collection, most of our products are housed in glass bottles or paper packaging which can be recycled along with other common recyclable items. Our shipping materials can also be recycled. For questions about recycling in your area, we recommend checking with your local jurisdiction.

In-House Practices

From seed, to plant, to bottle and finally, shipping to you, we practice sustainable methods on every level–including in our warehouse and office. Many of our sustainable practices mirror those that we require of our partners. After all, working with like-minded people whose common goal is sustainability helps keep our mission in focus. We practice sustainability in-house by:

  • Minimizing waste and pollution

  • Managing water and energy use

  • No use of toxic chemicals

  • Using recycled and recyclable materials and supplies

  • Employing sustainable work policies

By doing our part, we hope to create a better future for generations to come. This is why, along with integrating these practices into our day-to-day, we are actively looking for ways to improve and become more sustainable. That’s our commitment.

And lastly, we believe a sustainable future is one we all take part in. How are you practicing sustainability? Let us know in the comments!
