Essential Oil Shower Bombs Diy

Fizzy, aromatic and full of therapeutic goodness, shower bombs will take your clean routine to the next level. Using shower bombs can help you relieve stress and provide the benefits of essential oil-infused steam. Simply place your bombs in the corner of your shower and watch as they slowly break up and release essential oil vapor. Here’s how easy they are to make (and enjoy):

Ingredients

1 cup Baking soda

½ cup Citric acid

Natural food dye (optional)

Flower petals (optional)

Silicone bath bomb mold

40 ml Sunflower carrier oil

8 drops Rose

12 drops Sweet Orange

How To

Combine baking soda and citric acid. If you choose to use food dye, mix about 2 drops into the Sunflower carrier oil, or add directly into the dry mix for a speckled look. Then add Rose and Sweet Orange to the Sunflower oil. Combine the oil mixture with the dry mixture.

The mixture should feel damp and hold together. Add a few flower petals or other decorative items to the bottom of the silicone molds. Then add the shower bomb mixture on top. Pack the mixture in and let dry overnight. Store in a cool, dry environment for an approximate shelf life of 6 months.

To use, simply set the shower bomb on your shower floor, and enjoy the therapeutic aroma of Rose and Sweet Orange as the bomb fizzes and pops away.
