Modern science-based research indicates Ginger essential oil has an array of health-promoting properties. Ginger essential oil is employed by holistic healthcare practitioners, herbalists and aromatherapists for a diversity of health benefits. It is warming, soothing, comforting.
Ginger root essential oil is mostly known for its ability to curb the queasy feelings brought on by travel and heavy meals. While the consumption of fresh ginger is the ultimate way to dial in its effectiveness, simply diffusing Ginger essential oil and sensing its distinctive aroma can go a long way to relieve nausea and occasional indigestion.
The stresses, strains and brain-drain of modern life are dispelled with ginger – and maybe a little Peppermint. Ginger root oil is known for its anti-inflammatory effects, helping to soothe sore muscles or discomfort caused by inflammation.
The Ginger plant is an upright perennial herb that grows up to 3 feet in height. It has spreading, thick rhizomes that have a very strong aroma. Each year, the plant sprouts green reed-like stalk with narrow spear shaped leaves and white or yellow flowers. The ginger root is put through a hydro infusion extraction method to capture the pure essential oil.
