Q: Is your hand sanitizer FDA approved?
A: Yes. Our hand sanitizer was formulated in compliance with strict FDA standards and has been approved by their organization.
Q: Can I add essential oil to your hand sanitizer?
A: We have not tested this and therefore cannot guarantee the efficacy and safety of the hand sanitizer after essential oils are added.
Q: Why doesn’t your hand sanitizer have essential oils in it?
A: We may be offering different varieties of hand sanitizers in the future, but for now, we wanted to be able to quickly offer consumers a hand sanitizer to accommodate the recent shortage.
Q: Can I use hand sanitizer on children and babies?
A: Our hand sanitizer can be used on children 2 months and older.
Q: Is hand sanitizer toxic?
A: Hand sanitizer is non-toxic when used as directed. If hand sanitizer is ingested or gets in the eyes, call poison control at (800) 222-1222.
Q: Is the hydrogen peroxide in your hand sanitizer toxic?
A: No. Our hand sanitizer contains less than 1% hydrogen peroxide and is considered safe at this amount.
Q: Can I use hand sanitizer if I have eczema, psoriasis or a related skin issue?
A: It is still recommended that you use alcohol-based hand sanitizers and wash your hands frequently if you have eczema, psoriasis or a related skin issue to maintain good hand hygiene. However, there are ways you can prevent a skin reaction and dryness including, not washing your hands and using hand sanitizer at the same time, using less irritating soaps to wash your hands, not wearing gloves when your hands are still wet and using a non-irritating moisturizer after washing or sanitizing hands.
Q: How can I prevent skin dryness associated with using alcohol-based hand sanitizers and hand washing?
A: Using a moisturizing body oil or carrier oil can help to reduce dryness caused by frequent use of hand sanitizers and hand washing.
Q: Can your hand sanitizer prevent or kill the COVID-19 virus?
A: The CDC states that alcohol-based hand sanitizers that contain 60% ethanol or greater inactivate viruses that are genetically similar to COVID-19. Our hand sanitizer formula contains 80% ethanol.
Safety: Do not use on children less than 2 months of age or on open skin wounds. Supervise children under 6 years of age when using this product to avoid swallowing. If swallowed or ingested, contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
Do not spray near open flame. Avoid contact with eyes, ears and mouth. If any skin irritation occurs, discontinue use and contact your doctor. Store in a cool, dry place.
