USES
Description

There is a reason Lemon fragrances are added to many household cleaning products. Its natural essence and crisp aroma is marvelously fresh. So skip the chemicals and give Lemon oil a try.

When used in aromatherapy, the Lemon essential oil scent can uplift sullen moods and inspire positive thinking. Sourced from the romantic lands of Italy, Edens Garden essential oil is the highest quality available.

Lemon trees reach about 20 feet in height and grow serrated leaves, thorns and fragrant flowers. The citrus fruit is high in vitamin C. To extract the citrus oil, the Lemon peel is cold pressed.

How to Use

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Synergy Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil, such as Jojoba oil. See our dilution chart here. We recommend performing a skin patch test when using a new essential oil topically, especially if you have skin sensitivity.

Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite pure essential oil using an essential oil diffuser or personal pocket inhaler. For instructions on how to use your diffuser, please refer to the diffuser's product page.

DIYs: Explore simple and fun recipes on The Drop, our essential oil blog with expert tips, EO news, and informative reads.

HAPPY THOUGHTS: Create an essential oil blend for those days you need a mood boost. Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed: 5 drops of Lemon, 5 drops of Ylang Ylang and 5 drops of Rosemary. Or add 5-6 drops of Lemon to your Car Diffuser and diffuse in your car for a more fresh aroma.

RELAX: Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed: 5 drops of Lemon, 5 drops of Lavender (Bulgarian or French) and 5 drops of Tangerine. Or add Lemon to your Thera Lux Diffuser and diffuse for 30-60 minutes.

OILY SKIN: Did you know that Lemon can also be added to your skin care routine? Add to a 2 ounce bottle: 4 drops of Lemon, 1 drop of Carrot Seed, 4 drops of Frankincense (Frereana) and 3 drops of Lavender essential oil (French), then fill with distilled water and Polysorbate 20 (manufacturer's recommended amount). Shake well before applying a couple of drops to a water-damp cotton ball and wiping oily areas around the nose, chin and forehead. Add a teaspoon of this blend to a small basin of water and soak a face cloth for larger areas. Relax and keep your eyes closed, as you apply the cloth to your entire face for a refreshing mask! Use only at night, or avoid sun exposure during daylight hours. Shelf life: 1 week (1% dilution)

CLEANING SPRAY: To an 8 ounce spray bottle add: 40 drops of Lemon, 22 drops of Cinnamon Bark and 30 drops of Tea Tree oil, then fill with 6 oz distilled water and 2 oz grain alcohol. Shake well before use.
