There are over thirty varieties of the bushy, perennial herb we know as Oregano. It produces dark green leaves and pinkish flowers. Oregano is a favorite among those who love to garden because of its strong aroma.
The herb is put through a steam distillation process to extract the oil and pairs well with other peppery oils. Oregano essential oil has an enlivening sweet and peppery aroma.
