This or That OK For Kids : Blends for Concentration
At Edens Garden, we offer a large variety of blends; some with similar purposes but are made up of different oils. Why? One reason is that everyone has a unique physiology, and the way that a blend affects you may affect someone else differently.
With that said, we commonly get asked what the difference is between our OK For Kids blends, Focus, Focus, Focus and Study Buddy. Both blends are intended to increase cognitive function, improve concentration and boost memory retention. So how do you decide between the two? Allow us to break it down-
Focus, Focus, Focus
Focus, Focus, Focus is a blend of Grapefruit, Lavender, Pink Pepper, Lime, Cedarwood, Sweet Orange, East Indian Sandalwood, Spearmint, Geranium, Osmanthus and Vanilla CO2. A majority of the oils in this blend have been shown to improve cognitive function. Our formulators also included oils of Osmanthus and Vanilla to sweeten this blend and give it a well rounded, decadent aroma. Whether it’s in the class or during a soccer match, Focus, Focus, Focus is a great, natural alternative to use when your child’s mind tends to wander.
Study Buddy
With a more grounding and earthy aroma, Study Buddy is an attentive blend of Lemon, Litsea, Grapefruit, Black Pepper, Douglas Fir, Cedarwood, Cypress Wood, Lime, Vetiver, Damiana, Spearmint and Patchouli. Cypress, Lemon and Black Pepper namely are three oils that are frequently used to improve memory retention. Unlike Focus, Focus, Focus, Study Buddy has a balsamic, earthy aroma. Study Buddy is a purposely formulated blend that can help keep your child’s mind from wandering.
The Decision
As with most of our similarly purposed blends, the difference with Focus, Focus, Focus and Study Buddy mainly comes down to a preference in aroma. Both blends have oils that will help the user maintain concentration. If you can’t decide, it may be best to keep both in your oil artillery and switch off between the two so as not to develop essential oil memory.
