Essential Oil Bath Melts DIY

Taking a soothing bath is just plain good for the soul and body. Something about soaking in water with lit candles, a good read and soft music can make you forget about the days behind you and the days ahead.
EG hopes you find time to relax and unwind with these spa-worthy DIY bath melts made with essential oils. Now you’ll have a reason to de-stress and enjoy the fleeting days of summer.
What You Need
1 oz Mango butter
1 oz Shea butter
1 Tbsp Guava Seed carrier oil
5 drops Yuzu
5 drops Elemi
5 drops Geranium
Truffle molds
Double boiler
How To
Melt the mango butter and shea butter in a double boiler. Once melted, turn off heat and add carrier oil and essential oils. Pour into truffle molds and allow to cool. Once cooled, add to a container for storage and store in the refrigerator. Pop one or two melts in the bath tub and enjoy as the skin nourishing oils melt and mix into the bathwater.
